Farmhouse Decor Obsession

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy Summer Kitchen Decor. Click photo to shop!

It all started last Christmas. I was browsing Pinterest and came across a white buffalo plaid decorated Christmas tree. Soon after, pretty much my entire living room and dining area were decked out in the white & black checks. After Christmas I couldn’t part with my new found love of the pattern, so I incorporated it with every holiday and seasonal decor, and I absolutely love it! This lemon set up is on my breakfast nook in my kitchen. With some inexpensive farmhouse pieces I found at Michael’s and Amazon, I was able to create this super cute summer tablescape that garners tons of compliments.

Pinterest has some of the best ideas for Farmhouse Decor, and with a little creativity and bargain hunting you can easily bring those ideas to life. You can find most of these pieces pictured on my Amazon Shop! Nothing says Summer quite like bright yellow lemons, and nothing is more cute and cozy than that buffalo plaid.

My bedroom is also decked in buffalo plaid! Honestly I just fell in love with not only the look, but the versatility of the pattern. You can literally add any color, seasonal pieces, and most prints to this pattern and make it work. In the winter I used a black comforter, but brightened up the room for the spring and summer by displaying more white. To add to the farmhouse theme, you can’t go wrong with decorative lanterns, greenery and anything with cute little sayings and quotes will definitely add to the farmhouse vibe. Once again you can find almost all of these pieces and more decor on my Amazon shop.
